Our Essence

A Galician retreat for authentic travelers

We offer a unique experience that combines nature and tranquility in a charming rural setting.

O Cruceiro de Aguiar is a restored rural house designed by Isabel Aguirre, one of the most renowned Galician architects for her work on landscaping, offering a perfect refuge for those seeking to disconnect from the daily noise. Located in the heart of Galicia, our guests can enjoy cozy spaces, surrounded by lush nature, history, and authenticity. Come and discover the magic of Merza! We are open all year round to provide an unparalleled experience to all who visit us.

The house is in a quiet and privileged environment. A luxury to sleep with that silence. It is very beautiful both inside and out, the cleanliness is a 10 and the host is also a 10. He helps you, recommends places, very close. Wonderful place, to repeat and rest. Thank you for everything!

The heart of O Cruceiro

Since its restoration, O Cruceiro de Aguiar has been a haven for those seeking tranquility and authenticity.

Year 1999

The vision

Believing in the importance of connecting travelers with the natural beauty of Galicia, the rural house O Cruceiro de Aguiar was born, by Carmen Anido.

Year 2016

The experience

We provide a welcoming environment where every corner tells a unique story of the region. Since 2016, the house has become exclusively private.

The future

The new family generation is taking up the project, evolving to offer our guests unforgettable moments in Galician nature.
